Welcome to the Collector, the ultimate system for organizing and maintaining
your image/photo collections and inventories.  The Collector allows you to 
create as many collections as you like, and gives you many ways to Sort, 
Access, Query and Print your collections.  Defining the name of each of the fifteen data
fields, allows you to create individualized collections.  Pick Lists can be 
created to save common words for quick data input.  Voice Notes allow you to
attach an audio message to each image in your collection.  Each collection 
can be assigned a password so that you can protect your records.

Your collection can be sorted by any data field, allowing you to view your 
collection in any order. You can query your collection by entering search 
criteria in one or more of the data fields. Your results will be displayed 
in a window containing a list of all the matches found.

You can acquire images directly to the Collector by using a scanner or 
digital camera.  The supported TWAIN standard allows you to use virtually 
any input device for image input.  You can also edit images using the crop,
zoom, brightness, contrast, sharpness, features.

The Collector allows you to save your images in most file formats including
TIFF, PCX, JPEG, TGA, BMP, WMP, DIB, DCX, EPS, GIFF and PICT.

To install the Collector: 

1. Locate SETUP.EXE in the temporary unzip directory.
2. Run SETUP.EXE and specify the destination directory.
3. The Collector will be installed and Setup will create a Program Group
   and Icon.

There is no need to copy any files to the WINDOWS or SYSTEM directories. 
The Collector will work with all files in the same directory.
